Playa del Carmen, Mexico / Germany, February 25, 2025 – Prometheus Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of the globally active PUERTO FANTASÍA GROUP, has decided not to pursue the exploratory talks initiated in early 2025 regarding a potential acquisition of assets and hotel operations related to Lindner Hotels AG. Discussions with insolvency administrator Dr. Frank Kebekus were concluded before entering a formal M&A process.

Initial interest was driven by the ongoing strategic partnership between Lindner Hotels AG and Hyatt, which was considered a possible basis for future-oriented development. However, during the early-stage discussions, significant structural challenges became apparent, including a complex shareholder structure and insufficient financial transparency regarding certain internal fund allocations.

In light of these factors, PUERTO FANTASÍA GROUP has chosen not to proceed further. The decision reflects the Group’s commitment to strategic clarity and investment security.
