Matt S. Ziegler is an internationally experienced executive with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and over 20 years of leadership in the fields of hospitality, destination development, themed entertainment, real estate, and media. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of PUERTO FANTASÍA GROUP, a global development and operations platform for resorts, theme parks, cultural assets, and innovative mixed-use environments. In addition, he is Managing Director of Prometheus Deutschland GmbH, the group’s European headquarters based in Germany.

Since 2011, Ziegler has played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic growth of the group. Under his leadership, PUERTO FANTASÍA has evolved from a visionary concept into a multi-regional enterprise with active developments and operations across Europe and Latin America. He has overseen the launch of new divisions, led international investment strategies, and built up a strong network of institutional and creative partners. Ziegler’s background includes extensive experience in corporate transformation, brand architecture, experiential design, and integrated project delivery. Prior to joining PUERTO FANTASÍA GROUP, he held senior positions in leading international firms, contributing to landmark projects in tourism, culture, and urban regeneration.

He is known for his collaborative leadership style, intercultural fluency, and deep commitment to sustainable, inclusive development. Fluent in English, German, and Spanish, he frequently bridges diverse teams, markets, and industries — aligning long-term business vision with local relevance and social value.
